President's message — Ankara Romatoloji Derneği

Dear colleagues,

Rheumatology is not a branch that concludes in a single examination; it is a journey we share with our patients over years. Making the right decision on that journey depends on reaching current knowledge and each other's experience.

We founded the Ankara Rheumatology Association out of this need. Our aim is to bring together, regularly, the rheumatology specialists, fellows and interested colleagues working in the city's different centres — to build common ground through scientific meetings, case discussions and training programmes.

Another priority is to be an accurate, understandable source of information for our patients. Much of what circulates online about rheumatic diseases is incomplete or wrong. The patient information pages on this site are reviewed by our scientific board.

We will develop these pages together. I hope you will share your thoughts with us — and that we will see you at our meetings.
